North Shore Flea Returns July 14

It’s fun and it’s free and it has the best Vintage and D.I.Y on the North Shore.  The North Shore Flea in Highwood returns this Sunday, July 14. Dozens of vendors will be there offering the best clothing, jewelry, furniture, accessories, electronics, book, music and locally-crafted items.

There’s lots of free parking too. Or take the Metra- it’s less than a block from the Highwood Station.

The North Shore Flea is held at the Highwood Recreation Center, 428 Green Bay Rd. It’s open 9-5.

“The customers were great (lots of families too) and they seemed to like the mix of vintage and DIY. My customers are already calling me and requesting specific items. I noticed a lot of shoppers from the Chicago Vintage Garage came out to the North Shore. And of course the sellers all compliment one another and work together as a team. Looking forward to the next show and more possibilities”.
Sylvia Moore from The BackRoom

“I was really struck by the diversity of the shoppers’ taste! We sold a lace 1950s dress to an adorable girl who finally found the perfect prom dress, and then we sold a bunch of vintage head scarves to the cutest little grandma who mentioned that you just can’t find good scarves anymore! Some people were even buying Christmas gifts already! I really think that the North Shore Flea will be a HIT destination for Christmas shopping if you do decide to extend the indoor selling season into the fall and winter.”
Michelle Eigenberger from Bolted Vintage

“I was surprised at the steady flow all day…hope that it continues thru the summer…Also you had good signage around the area… We will definitely do it again.” Phil Cryder

North Shore Flea is a fun Sunday flea market starting May 12th for 2013 and running through September 8th. The hours each week are 9 a.m. ’til 5 p.m. rain or shine with 50 or more vendors of all types of vintage goods.
